With lower carbon footprints

We are committed to a full transition to 100% renewable energy by 2030, targeting net-zero emissions by 2050. We achieve this by focusing on green procurement, smart refrigerant management, robust recycling programs, and biodiversity protection. Our use of eco-efficient solar modules helps minimize our carbon footprint and restore natural balance.

Our commitment to sustainable growth is achieved by embedding environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethical governance into our core operations.
We drive long-term impact by leveraging our financial strength, advanced manufacturing, and skilled talent. We ensure holistic growth through innovation, stakeholder trust, and sustainable practices.

At Waaree, our sustainability efforts are deeply aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). We embed purpose into every action, from supporting healthcare and education to promoting gender equality, clean energy, and ethical governance. Our initiatives include offering efficient solar technologies (SDG 7, 9) and implementing fair labor practices (SDG 8, 10). We also drive responsible consumption and climate action (SDG 12, 13). We foster inclusive growth, uphold human rights, and promote community well-being through our CSR programs, ensuring our impact extends beyond energy to building a more equitable and sustainable future for everyone.

We collaborate with stakeholders to foster trust, transparency, and long-term value through shared goals and responsible engagement.

The First Indian Manufacturer to Launch Verified EPDs for Solar Panels
Waaree Energies Limited is proud to be the first Indian solar panel manufacturer to publish independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its Bifacial MonoPERC and TopCon solar modules.
Certified under the globally recognized International EPD System, these declarations transparently measure and communicate the environmental impact of our panels. With market-leading efficiency and exceptionally low carbon footprints, our solar modules reflect our unwavering commitment to sustainability and innovation. This milestone supports global net-zero goals and reinforces India’s leadership in the renewable energy transition.
“The global community is collectively engaged in a crucial effort to mitigate the impact of climate change, caused in large part by generations of fossil fuel usage. As the world works towards achieving Net-Zero emissions in the decades ahead, the adoption of clean, renewable energy sources will be essential to fulfilling this objective.”
Accelerating the global energy transition

We are proudly aligned with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), joining global frontrunners in the race to achieve net zero. This commitment marks a bold step in our climate strategy, grounded in science and focused on real-world impact.
By helping corporate and industrial sectors meet their renewable energy purchase obligations, we enable a smooth and scalable shift to clean power. The SBTi framework enables us to set clear, measurable goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with the aim to limit global warming and achieve net zero by 2050.
At Waaree, we don’t just follow sustainability standards; we help define them.

Waaree Energies fully complies with the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework mandated under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) and enforced by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
As part of our EPR Responsibilities and Actions, Waaree is actively engaged in:
WEL is in full compliance with the requirements of the European Union RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, as amended by Directive (EU) 2015/863, which restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
